Weight loss workshop

STUDIES show that people can have mental blocks when it comes to weight-loss. Of course, exercise and proper nutrition are the key factors when it comes to losing weight and getting healthy. But there is also a third element, the emotional element.

The DreamBody Centre held a workshop with life coach Julie Lomas of Conscious Connections to discuss the emotion and weight-loss connections. The event was free for its members to further help them in their goals of weight-loss and optimum health.

Members learned the importance of ‘self-love, motivation and the use of affrmations’ to aid with their goals.

“We think it’s really important to give our members all the tools and assistance they need, in order to reach their goals. It’s not just about the exercise,” said DreamBody Centre general manager, Saba Saleem.

“We’ve got a year full of various interactive events for members to achieve their success.”
