Charles is in charge on the course

Charles Lyon’s impressive nett score of 71 was enough to secure him top spot in this month’s Euro Motors BMW Monthly Medal competition at the Royal Golf Club for the second month in a row.

He was closely followed by Hamad Salem who just missed out on count back after also shooting a nett 71. 

In the second division the count back system was needed again to determine the winner. Kevin Ross and Depriest Daniels both finished with nett scores of 69 with Daniels just missing out and having to settle for second place.

In the third division, lady member Evelyn Rimmer’s nett 76 was enough to take top spot ahead of Robert Addison who finished second with a nett score of 78. 

“Charles is definitely on a roll at the moment, although there was no hole in one for him this month to add to his score,” commented John Wilson, the Royal Golf Club’s Golf Sales & Events manager.

All the winners progress on to the Euro Motors BMW Grand Final which will be held at the Royal Golf Club in December.
