Batelco Hearts & Minds Committee, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Muharraq Governorate, joined forces to sponsor a charitable event to raise awareness about controlling high blood pressure.
It took place on Amwaj Islands, where a community cycle ride for the young attracted scores of participants. The event had the support of the Bahrain Bicycle Association and it also provided an opportunity for Batelco staff members and others to join in and raise awareness about the issue and the need for exercise and a healthy lifestyle to tackle it.
The committee is made up of volunteers who work in various departments within Batelco. They share one common goal, serving the community in as many ways as possible.
