Irish golfing legend Padraig Harrington visited Bahrain’s Royal Golf Club yesterday as guest of honour at HSBC’s annual golf day.
The three time Major winner and Ryder Cup player conducted a golf clinic for HSBC’s select number of VIP guests, followed by an 18-hole round of golf on the club’s challenging Montgomerie championship course.
The day concluded with a dinner, prize-giving ceremony and Q&A session with Harrington in the club’s private Repartee dining room.
This was Harrington’s second visit to the club having competed in the European Tour’s maiden Volvo Golf Champions tournament in 2011.
“We’re delighted to welcome Padraig back to the Royal Golf Club and indeed, back to Bahrain,” said DJ Flanders, the Royal Golf Club’s General Manager and a PGA Professional himself.
