We all know of someone who has bought a tiny puppy without realising that it would grow. At the time it fitted neatly into the palm of their hand. Then, all of the sudden; they had a full-sized hound running round the house.
 
This also happens with children … and with training and transforming your body.

Everyone hates to take a picture and measurements (body fat, weight, waist size) when they are just starting for fear of embarrassment, but those are the things that MUST be recorded as they will eventually make you proud! 

There is nothing more satisfying than having a before and after shot to compare to visually when you are feeling unmotivated or feel like you’re not making progress.
 
When you track your progress, you create a concrete record of where you once were and where you are currently. 
Even though some of the greatest results may not be seen in the mirror, they can be noticed when written down on paper, for example, what you used to be able to lift and what you lift now, how much faster you are running etc.
 
The more you record the easier you can track your success and also take notice of what works and doesn’t work for your body. 

There are millions of different training programmes out there, and you want to find out which is the best for you. 
Start with a daily activity diary and go from there, you should track your progress in the gym, your diet and any other measurements you want to improve.

Since I started doing this I’ve begun to really feel proud of what my clients and I have accomplished!
