The 2014 Autumn Fair at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre will run until January 29. Today, tomorrow and Saturday the exhibition is open from 10am to 1pm and 4pm to 10pm. On Friday, the exhibition is open from noon until 10pm. Sunday and Monday is a ladies-only morning from 10am to 1pm and then its open to the general public from 4pm to 10pm. Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) is hosting the annual GulfRun today and tomorrow in Sakhir. The event was put together by a group of motoring enthusiasts from Kuwait. More than 70 vehicles are slated to take part this year including makes such as Audi, BMW, Caterham, Chevrolet, Ferrari, Ford, Honda, Lamborghini, Lexus, Lotus, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Nissan and Porsche. Today the participants will race along BIC’s inner and outer circuits. Tomorrow, the action will take place along BIC’s world-class Grand Prix track. St Christopher’s School will host the Young Musicians of the Gulf (YMoG) today until January 30.

Participants from 15 schools across the Gulf states will visit the kingdom for three days of musical competition. Initial rounds are held at St Christopher’s School in Isa Town. The semi-final will be held on January 29 at St Christopher’s School Hall in the Saar campus at 7pm. The final will be staged at the Crowne Plaza Bahrain on January 30 at 7pm.The best musicians will compete for the title Young Musician of the Gulf.

They will be judged by British-born composer, conductor and organist Michael Hankinson, conductor Richard Dickins and violinist Chloë Hanslip.

A photographic exhibition called Inside India is being held at the Bin Mattar House in Muharraq until February 20. The images are by four Bahrain-based photographers including Haya Al Khalifa, Rasha Yousif, Saji Antony and Stephanie Ravel. The exhibition will coincide with India’s National Day celebrations.
