For those of you who did not know, I was recently cast as Abigail Williams in the local production of The Crucible at St. Christopher’s school. We performed two nights in a row over the weekend and I must extend a grand thank you to all those who attended. I was truly humbled by the turn out as over the two nights we amassed an audience of just over 300 people.
I would like to take this opportunity to give a shout out to all the members of the cast and crew. You know who you are. It was truly amazing to see what we put together in the space of nine weeks, especially if we think of where we were just two days before opening night. And there will now be a gaping hole in my heart and schedule where this production used to be. Although, rest easy, it shall soon be filled again by coursework and university worries. And this is a bitter-sweet goodbye to what is most likely my last acting role within this country.
