Your body communicates with you on a daily basis. It gives you signs and warnings. A sign might be a headache, an allergy or even marks on the face or the body that can give you various messages.
Let me help you listen to some of these signs.
If you look at your nails, some nails get white spots on them (like small white blotches). Some are dark white or a light faint shade of white.
A lot of people think that these indicate a calcium deficiency, but in truth they indicate a deficiency in the mineral zinc; and they’re called zinc spots.
Zinc is very important for the body. It strengthens immunity and helps the growth of cells (hair cells, brain cells, etc). And it also helps heal wounds and even get rid of excess weight.
When zinc is low we become more prone to illness, obesity and even depression. And by the time these white spots appears on the nails it means that your zinc levels have dipped very low.
What can you do?
If you see any zinc spots on your nails, add foods that are rich in zinc to your diet. Seafood, raw nuts and seeds, especially pumpkin seeds which I like to grind and add to juice to get a bigger amount.
Your body connects with you all the time, try to listen.
