EURO Motors, the dealer and distributor for Jaguar Land Rover in Bahrain, announced that work is fast underway on a dedicated $25 million (BD 9,425,000) 5,000sq/m two-level showroom.
The new showroom aims to support the sustained growth in marketing and sales activities in 2014, after Jaguar Land Rover exceeded sales targets in the previous year, the company says.
Located adjacent to the existing showroom of Euro Motors in Sitra, it is projected to be completed within 12 months since work began last month.
Zayed Al Zayani, managing director of Jaguar Land Rover, said this is Euro Motors’ most aggressive investment strategy on showroom development in recent years.
He said: “Gauging from the massive size of the development and the worth of the investment, it will not only reinforce our status as a leader in our category, but at the same time, it will set a benchmark for all other dealers in the industry.”
The layout includes two floors of showroom space that can accommodate the full range of the latest and newly-launched Jaguar and Land Rover cars, with designated areas for each brand respectively and for used approved vehicles.
It will feature a Service Section that can lodge up to 32 units for service and repair and will include computer diagnostic tools, body shop, spare parts storage, warranty department and a training centre.
Al Zayani added: “With the opening of the new showroom, new positions will be created to generate many job opportunities for Bahrainis. And it does not end there, because in keeping with the global standards of our brands, we will continually provide our employees with professional training in a technologically enhanced work environment at the on-site training centre within the showroom.”
Anthony Raymond, general manager of Jaguar Land Rover at Euro Motors, said: “After our appointment as the exclusive dealer of the Jaguar Land Rover in Bahrain in October 2013, we adapted the Land Rover showroom to become our Jaguar Land Rover showroom.
“Being in partnership with two leading brands in the luxury car market such as Jaguar and Land Rover, it is only befitting that we build a new showroom exclusively for these two brands, to reflect both the leadership standards of Jaguar Land Rover and of Euro Motors. The showroom’s design principle speaks of the cars’ brand philosophy - bold, characterised by a sense of individualism, technology driven, and inspired by a heritage of excellence.”
The new showroom is also designed to be customer-oriented. Service and after sales facilities include a reception and consultancy area, comfortable hospitality lounges and a spacious car park.
