On behalf of the Palm Association, I am writing to say thank you for all the great articles chief reporter Mai Al Khatib-Camille has written recently about our Ramadan Food Drive.

The stories GulfWeekly has published have certainly raised awareness of The Palm Association and the work that we do.

We have received a number of comments and good feedback in general as a result of your articles. 

It certainly helped us convey to the community the charitable work that we carry out for our Feed-A-Family programme. The Palm Association relies heavily on the generosity of others and you can be assured that your articles have helped highlight the difficulties some Bahraini families face.

My villa has been invaded by a swarm of tiny ants that seem to be climbing through every opening and crack in the wall. How do I get rid of them? I’m not happy with calling in the bug destroyers as I have children and animals in the home. Apart from being a nuisance are they harmful and do they spread disease?
 
I’m not sure what kind of ant species we are talking about but they are really small and there appears to be thousands of them. Can your readers help?
