Corneliani, a leading Italian menswear store which started business making raincoats and overcoats in the 1930s, before growing into one of the globe’s most desirable brands, has opened an outlet in Bahrain.
With a network of single-brand stores in major cities throughout the Middle East – Dubai, Doha, Amman, Beirut and Kuwait City – it has launched a prestigious new boutique in Manama’s Moda Mall.
The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Industry and Commerce Minister Dr Hassan Fakhro. Also present at the launch were Italian ambassador Alberto Vecch, Bahraini businessman Ahmed Mohammed Dadabhai, global sales director for the Italian group, Cristiano Corneliani, alongside businessmen, investors and ministry officials.
During his tour around the shop, Dr Fakhro was shown samples of the menswear, fabrics, accessories and other men’s supplies under the Corneliani brand.
The minister expressed his admiration for the efforts of the private sector in the kingdom and its keenness to add new and diverse options for consumers.
