A virtual exhibition launched by the organisers of this year’s edition of the Northern Gulf’s leading industrial B2B trade show has been welcomed as an ‘invaluable innovation’ by business leaders, regular participants at the show and visitors.
Visitors to the Gulf Industry Fair (GIF) 2014 Virtual Exhibition - available to view via either www.gulfindustryfair.com or www.gulfindustryonline.com - can see interviews with exhibitors conducted during last February’s show, as well as obtain information about a company’s products or services.
Visitors from across the GCC, Europe and The Americas visited the site in the first few weeks of it going live, taking advantage of this innovative extension of the real time experience.
“The Virtual Exhibition provides more than 200 days of extra promotion and marketing for our companies exhibiting at this important show. This is an invaluable service, unique among exhibition organisers,” said Jaap Vaandrager, honorary consul of the Netherlands, who has hosted a number of Dutch industrial services companies at the two previous editions of Gulf Industry Fair.
The Virtual Exhibition will remain online until 18 January 2015, giving GIF exhibitors added exposure and value for their participation.
“The Virtual Exhibition has been well received and we shall look to build on the popularity of our 2014 experience in the 2015 version, which will have an improved format and a wider audience guaranteed. Whether in real time or online, Gulf Industry Fair remains the region’s most relevant, innovative industrial showcase, where maximizing the value of our exhibitors’ participation is our priority,” added Jubran Abdulrahman, managing director of Hilal Conferences & Exhibitions (HCE), the organisers of the highly-successful GIF series.
