● Dry hair is usually the result of climate conditions.
● Water in Bahrain is not de-salinated therefore dry hair is a common condition.
● Over processing the hair with chemical products and blow-drying the hair with hairdryers that are too hot causes brittle and porous hair.
● Always condition hair with a good product every time you wash your hair!
● Mix a solution of half a teacup of pure lemon juice to one litre of sweet water and pour a little of the solution through the hair after you’ve completed your shampoo regime. This will close the cuticle layer of hair and remove trace elements left over from the water.
● Mayonnaise is the best home oil treatment you can do for your locks! It contains the basic ingredients — egg, acetic acid and refined oils that penetrate the hair shaft. Remember always apply shampoo directly to the mayonnaise when washing it out as this makes it easier to remove and you won’t walk around smelling like a salad!
