Mercure Grand Hotel Seef, Bahrain has welcomed Mohammed Arzzoni as its new executive chef.
Mr Arzzoni, from Lebanon, brings with him 30 years of top-class restaurant experience.
He started his career back in 1977 and has worked in some of the most prestigious hotels and eating places in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia.
His experience comes from Sheraton Coral Beach, Metropolitan, Rivera Hotels in Lebanon and Al Buhaira Hotel in Saudi Arabia, this is in addition to some other most famed restaurants in the Lebanon capital, Beirut.
His specialties are spread from the famous Lebanese dishes to international and European main courses. Chef Arzzoni’s favourite dishes are the Lebanese-Grilled Kofta & Paela, the delicious Spanish sea food course.
From his rich background in the kitchen and food preparation, Chef Arzzoni plans to enrich the three buffets at the Neyran Restaurant to include some local and oriental flavourites such as Manakeesh during breakfast, baked Hamour with Lebanese spices for lunch and a variety of steak courses for dinner.
