• Enjoy a regal evening of great entertainment at St George’s Day Red and White Ball, Sheraton Hotel, Al Taj Ballroom from 7.30pm. The event organized by the Royal Society of St George will feature Bahrain Police Band Chamber Orchestra, Krazy Kevin, a welcome reception plus five course dinner including selected refreshments. The ‘star’ attractions for the evening include “The Queen” aka Elizabeth Richard who appeared in the blockbuster “Love Actually” and Wild At Heart band from UK starring Barry Upton (ex-Brotherhood of Man) - 60s, 70s, 80s re-lived. • Annual Spring Ball at the British Club featuring an Elvis impersonator Briton Damian Brett. With over six years of experience performing as The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll; when on stage Damian takes on the Elvis Brettini persona. • Pure night of entertainment comes your way during the second Jazz Festival to be held at the Bahrain Yacht Club in Sitra. An impressive line-up of stars including a gypsy swing group from Holland, an American pianist and singer and a Polish guitarist will perform starting 7pm. American Karen Edwards, a Germany award nominee and the Jarek Smietana trio from Poland will perform on the night. Tickets cost BD10 per person with discount for club members. • Summer Madness: Celebrate the insanity of summer at Enigma, Windsor Tower Hotel, off Exhibition Road. Entertainment from resident band “Minority” a six-piece show band from the Philippines featuring Michael Empeno, Star Quest Champion and Best Vocalist Battle of the Bands, Dubai as well as from DJ Neil.
