Girlfriends
Another corker from DVD man this week. Girlfriends has been around since 2000 but has only just made it my watch-list.
This is a TV comedy series that centres around the lives and loves of four African-American women and their side-kick token male.
Surprisingly funny and well written, this will appeal to men and women alike with credible story-lines that you can easy imagine happening to yourself or others close to you.
Although they’re best friends, each of the characters are very different in personality and style which only adds to their widespread appeal.
Watch it, laugh and be frustrated while you wait for the next series to be available.
