More than 80 students started recycling five tonnes of used paper as part of an environmental project at the Al Estiqlal Secondary Girls School, Muharraq.
The 10-day environmental project is being organised by the Bahrain Centre for Volunteers in collaboration with the General Organisation for Youth and Sport (Goys). The students, aged between 17 and 24, cut the paper, turned it into paste and left it in the sun to dry. An honouring ceremony will be held by the end of the month for everyone who volunteered in the project.
