MENU development chef Marie-Eve Lefranaye has recently launched her new Gourmet Theatre Menu as well as the Gourmet Christmas Show fabulous festive feast across all THE One stores in the Middle East.
Influences for the menu came from her experiences of travelling the world.
After studying visual arts in France, Marie returned to her native Canada, where she enrolled at the Institute of Culinary Hospitality.
Here she was able to combine her artistic skills with her passion for food and she decided that gastronomic art would be her path in life.
Over the years, her appetite for culinary creativity inspired her to explore the tastes, smells, sights and cuisines of various countries, leaving memories of exciting and unique ingredients and flavours - some of which are featured in her new menu.
"I have used international flavours and cooking styles to design dishes with bright colours and interesting textures, which are as stimulating to the eye as they are to the taste buds," Marie told GulfWeekly.
"Celebrating, sharing and making time for a good moment - these are the ideas behind this festive menu. As this is a special time of the year for me I wanted to work with a very traditional mix of flavours, twisting them together with a scoop of my own childhood Christmas memories ... Christmas is all about celebrating and sharing, wherever you are from, isn't it? That's why I am very pleased to offer this gift to our customers."
The funky in-store restaurant offers fast and friendly service and exciting international dishes ranging from all-day breakfast, light lunches and salads, to hearty main meals and divine desserts.
Tempting dishes include Banana French Toast; Raspberry and Halloumi Salad; Sweet and Spicy Lamb Ciabatta and Cajun Lentil Burger, as well as the infamous Carrot Cake.
The Gourmet Christmas Show, which runs until the end of December, features three individually priced Acts (courses), namely Seasonal Starters, Magical Mains and Festive Finales.
THE One Turkey and Trimmings is back by popular demand, in addition to tasty debut performances by the likes of a Three Cheese Quiche loaded with nutty, balsamic-glazed vegetables and finished with a spiced cranberry sauce, as well as the Traditional Christmas Pudding, smothered in Mrs Santa's secret sauce.
A range of delicious Frosty Festive Treats available to order, include a nine-inch Traditional Christmas Cake, Mulled Spice Apple Lattice Pie, mini Mince Pies and more.
