wednesday (Dec 19), Series - Stacked on MBC4 at midnight Tired of her non-stop partying lifestyle and succession of loser boyfriends, Skyler Dayton (Pamela Anderson) is looking for a change in lifestyle. After wandering into "The Stack", a small family-run bookshop, she is offered a job by Stuart DeWitt, much to the dismay of shop owner Gavin (Stuart's brother). Fun and frivolous, this isn't a show that highlights Pamela's acting skills but it's worth a peek at never-the-less. THURSDAY (Dec 20) Film - The 13th Warrior on Star Movies at 8 30pm Ibn Fahdlan (Antonio Banderas), is an important emissary banished from his homeland. Coming across a band of Norse warriors on his travels, he is coerced into joining them when they are summoned to fight mysterious creatures legendary for consuming every living thing in their path. Eventually surrounded by the frightening and ferocious foe, Ibn must conquer his personal fears and help battle the elusive invaders who emerge out of the shroud of fog in the black of night. FRIDAY (Dec 21) Film - My Super Ex-Girlfriend on Star Movies at 8 30pm Starring Uma Thurman and Luke Wilson. Matt Saunders (Luke Wilson) finds out just how hard breaking up can be when he tries to call it quits with his clingy girlfriend, Jenny (Uma Thurman). Jenny isn't just your typical girl though - she's a secret superhero dedicated to ridding the streets of crime. Her outward strength hides a deep-rooted insecurity, and when Jenny begins to become a bit too possessive, Matt does his best to end the relationship amicably. SATURDAY (Dec 22) Reality TV - Abby and Janice: Beauty and the Best on MBC4 at 10 pm Self-professed 'original supermodel Janice Dickenson takes on Britain's Next Top Model runner-up Abbey Clancy (girlfriend of football star Peter Crouch) under her wing in this stress-fuelled reality TV series that sees Abbey trying to make it as a supermodel in America. Follow the struggles and back-biting as Janice puts Abbey through her paces and opens doors Abbey might never otherwise get the chance to knock on. SUNDAY (Dec 23) Series - Mad Men on MBC4 at 11pm This is a fun new series that takes a look at the world of advertising in the 1960s, focusing on the life of talented and charismatic ad exec Don Draper. Not only does this series look into one of the advertising industry's most creative periods, it also highlights the up-swing of life after the depression of the 1950s and delves into an era of chauvinism few these days have chosen to remember. MONDAY (Dec 24) Film - Garfield: A Tail Of Two Kitties on Star Movies at 8:30pm Starring Bill Murray and Jennifer Love Hewitt. This sequel to the 2004 hit Garfield: the Movie maintains that film's clever mix of live action and special FX as self-centred, lasagne-quaffing feline, Garfield, heads to England. In a twist on Mark Twain's The Prince and the Pauper, Garfield is mistaken for a regal kitty who has just inherited a royal estate. TUESDAY (Dec 25) Series - The Darling Buds Of May Christmas Special on UKTV at 6pm Christmas in the Larkin household finds Ma in the kitchen making masses of mince pies and Mariette expecting another addition to the family. But as Pop is out delivering Christmas trees a mysterious fugitive from justice is about to cast a shadow over the Larkin's idyllic family Christmas. Starring David Jason, Pam Ferris and a young Catherine Zeta-Jones.
