The Williams driver lost control while navigating the
piscine chicane to slam into a wall, leaving his car
mangled with 18 laps left in the race.
Rosberg, a
“He had been very fast around here all weekend, so he will be really frustrated to come away with nothing,” Williams technical director Sam Michael said.
Williams race for 600th time
Frank Williams downplayed celebrations for his 600th Grand Prix at
“Reaching 600 ... means very little to me,” the Williams
team principal said. “There have been some brilliant
moments over the 40 years that I’ve been racing and there have also been some moments of great sadness. Most of the time it has been a most pleasurable experience.”
The British team’s F1 debut came at

The Force is not with Sutil
With one touch of the brakes, Kimi Raikkonen destroyed Adrian Sutil’s Monaco GP. Raikkonen hit the breaks on Sunday and lost control as his Ferrari car wildly launched into the back of Sutil.
The accident forced both drivers to pit, with Sutil retiring due to a suspension problem. Raikkonen had to replace his front wing for the second time, but continued to finish out of the points in ninth place.
