Guests are flying in from as   far away as the UK, Italy and Russia for this year’s major fashion extravaganza, the Fashion TV Heels and Wheels party which launches off the Formula 1 weekend and the official Fashion TV afterparty which closes the event.

 

Excitement is increasing around the long-awaited Heels and Wheels event with rumours of international celebrity appearances which come as no surprise as Fashion TV parties have gained an enormous reputation worldwide for attracting the most fashionable crowd wherever they go.

 

Celebrities, models and fashion industry leaders are the usual faces seen at these signature events which are exclusively organised by Fashion TV and Fashion TV Arabia, a subsidiary of Fashion TV in Paris.

 

Adham Beainy from F Factory, which is teaming up with FTV and Picasso Events to organise the Heels and Wheels party, said: “We are now almost ready with the final event set up and beyond any doubt Heels and Wheels will surprise many F1 visitors by delivering a world-class entertainment traditionally associated with Europe and the posh parties of Monaco.” 

 

Many of the event details are kept strictly confidential but a source close to the organisers confirmed that a unique outdoor VIP ice lounge bar will be created exclusively for the event, offering VIP guests an atmosphere never experienced in Bahrain before.

The latest music hits will be performed by three of Fashion TV Arabia’s very own DJs with FTV dancers being flown in from Europe and international and top local models on hand displaying some of the most fashionable clothes and accessories Bahrain’s boutiques have to offer.

 

Guests are urged not to forget to dress to impress as FTV Arabia will air coverage of the evening on its channel for a period of two weeks after the event, which will be held on April 24 at the Gulf Hotel's Awal Ballroom, in Manama. Doors will open at 8pm and will continue till 2am.

To finish the F1 weekend  Likwid Promotions will be holding its annual Fashion TV Grand Prix After-Race Party at the Coral Beach Club located on the Al Fateh Corniche on Sunday evening.

 

Company director, Karim Miknas said: “the FTV GP After-Race Party has become a must on the party circuit and THE event to be at year after year.  It has grown in popularity, since the first one in 2004 and, with last year’s phenomenal success, we believe we will be welcoming close to 4,000 guests at this year’s party, making it the biggest Grand Prix party ever in Bahrain and it will certainly be the chicest.”

 

The whole of Coral Beach Club will be dressed to make party goers feel like they just walked into Del Mar in Ibiza, St. Tropez, Miami or Monte Carlo. This year’s show comes from no less than Hed Kandi with resident DJ and weekly radio show presenter David Dunne plus, of course, the gorgeous Kandi Girlz, dancers extraordinaire.

A special stage will be set up for the entertainers directly on the beach with podiums dotted throughout the venue for everyone to dance on.

 

Bahrain’s party people will also benefit from spectacular views of Manama Harbour.
