Husband and wife Steve and Samantha Hill won the fifth competition in the six-week long Coca-Cola Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club with a nett score of 32.4, putting them in joint second place on the series leader board.
Graeme Newport and playing partner Abdurahman Al Amar were runners-up in the Chapman format competition with 33.8 nett while last week’s winners, Rob and Debbie Lane, came third with 34.4 nett. The Lanes continue to top the Order of Merit with 10 points.
Nearest the pin side contests on holes 12 and 16 were won by Adnan Al Sowaidi and Dena Wales respectively.
The evening was rounded off with a prize presentation ceremony in the Members’ Lounge where Sheldon Cameron, the club’s golf operations manager presented the prizes.
