Ray Bruhn and Ian Smith took the lead in the NHSC Monday Madness Night Golf League order of merit after narrowly winning the first competition of the series at the Royal Golf Club with 24 points.
Husband and wife pair Jeff and Val Wright were a close second, also with 24 points, losing out on countback. 
The series is open to non-members at BD20 per night for the 9-hole event and tees off every Monday evening with a 6.30pm shotgun start. To register, contact Chris Igaya at golfevents@theroyalgolfclub.com
