Gulf Air welcomed the third group of six all-Bahraini female cabin crew to its family. In a graduation ceremony held at the Elite Resort & Spa, attended by family members of the graduates and Gulf Air senior management, the girls received their honours and are ready to serve on-board their national carrier’s fleet. This group graduated from a joint-initiative run by the airline and Tamkeen. Above, the new cabin crew with CEO Samer Majali and top officials.

The Royal College of Surgeons-Medical University of Bahrain opened the campus to Bahrain’s central blood bank for a blood donation drive. A letter of intent was also signed with Dr Fakhriya A Darwish, head of the central blood bank, that the university would commit to making available both staff and students who wanted to donate blood, twice a year.
