Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) has launched ticket sales for the 2016 Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix weekend on April 1-3, with an ‘early bird’ discount of up to 20 per cent on offer.
The race is set to be the second on the F1 calendar for 2016 and will be the third night race hosted by BIC. With the previous night races hailed as the most enthralling and action-packed races ever seen at ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’, the buildup for the 2016 race has already begun.
The ‘early bird’ discount runs until January 24, 2016, offering fans the chance to snap up an early bargain for the race weekend. With adult ticket prices starting at BD54, including reduction, tickets are some of the most affordable for any F1 venue in the world, said a BIC spokesperson.
In particular, BIC has seen an ever growing presence of F1 fans from Europe, who can enjoy ticket prices of up to three times cheaper than some European venues, whilst enjoying the warm Bahrain sunshine and hospitality.
Furthermore, the first 100 buyers will each receive valuable gifts courtesy of BIC, adding to the great value for money already being offered in the ‘early bird’ promotion.
All ticket prices offer three-day access to the Grand Prix weekend, which, aside from the F1, will include racing from other major international and regional championships.
In addition, there will be family entertainment, including world famous recording artists, as well as music stars from the Middle East and extensive fun throughout the weekend. More details on the racing and entertainment programme will be announced soon.
BIC chief executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa said: “We can already feel the excitement here in Bahrain for the 2016 race and are delighted to be able to offer fans early access to discounted tickets.
“We have been overwhelmed by the support for the race over the years, but it is clear that the night race has brought in a new breed of racing fans to the BIC. As our third night race, we expect the tickets to be more popular than ever, following two of the most exciting races we have ever seen at BIC in the last two years.
“I would urge fans to get booking quickly to avoid disappointment, as our most popular grandstand tickets sell out faster and faster every year.”
Tickets can be purchased at the BIC stand in Bahrain City Centre, online at www.bahraingp.com or by calling +973-17450000.
