The Whisperer’s good friend ‘butter-fingers’ Bambi Manalese dropped her old iPhone 4 into the toilet bowl and literally dived in (the water was still clean, fortunately) to rescue the device.
It was wet and dead. She dried it using a hairdryer and then placed it into a rice container for three days … and prayed.
The thought of losing loads of photographs of her former beloved colleagues at GulfWeekly and other important stored information was almost unbearable.
With trepidation, she took it out, kissed it and plugged it in the socket and voila … miraculously it worked.
