The inaugural edition of The Indian Club Desert Queen Contest will be held on Friday, March 4, as part of ‘The Indian Club Family Fun Day in the Desert’ being organised by AABEX Events in association with The Indian Club at AABEX’s ‘Desert Pearl Camp’ in Sakhir.
Co-ordinated by Sneha Koshy, entry to the contest is free and open to ladies of all nationalities who are 18-or-over on the day of the event. Contestants will compete against a spectacular and unique desert back-drop in casual and party-wear rounds, choreographed by Hansul Gani, for the title, crown and a range of prizes, including electrical goods.
Sports, games and entertainment for all the family will be held throughout the day, with the fun being rounded off in the evening with dinner, a cultural show and dancing to the music of ‘DJ Andy’ and a live band, as well as the crowning of The Indian Club Desert Queen 2016.
‘The Indian Club Family Fun Day in the Desert’ will run from 8am to midnight and is free to club members and costs only BD1 for guests. Meal coupons will be on sale at BD2 (breakfast BD1) per meal for everyone and there will be a free shuttle bus service provided to get people to and from the camp.
