The new SsangYong XLV, the South Korea-based vehicle manufacturer’s multi-role lifestyle SUV, boasts additional boot space in a bid to make it more practical for family use.
Following rapid growth in the segment, SsangYong responded in 2015 by launching Tivoli, its first compact SUV, which has become the company’s most successful new car with about 64,000 cars manufactured and sold around the world last year.
Sharing the same platform with the Tivoli, the XLV features a lengthened body with an increase of 238mm over the standard car, expanding the load capacity to a huge 720 cubic litres of space, while the larger cabin provides space for five adults with excellent leg, shoulder and head room.
The word XLV originates from ‘Exciting Smart Lifestyle Vehicle’.
