Fans of luxury motors have a new beast to admire as Y K Almoayyed & Sons unveiled the 2016 Infiniti QX60 premium crossover at its showroom in Sitra.
The QX60 features enhanced interior and exterior design with a suite of assistive and intuitive technologies to offer a more versatile vehicle than previous models, its designers say.
A complete redesign of the exterior is the most notable addition, such as the redesigned double-arch grille flanked by standard-fit bi-xenon headlamps.
There is greater use of LED lighting too, including new daytime running lights as well as front fog lamps, which feature similar lighting and chrome finishers.
The QX60 also features the signature brand design cues such as double-wave bonnet and crescent-cut D-pillar.
Inside, the signature driver-oriented cockpit returns, highlighted by thin chrome accents as well as an upper instrument panel wrapped in soft-touch material with contrast stitching for an affluent touch.
It’s on the technology front that Infiniti strives for excellence though, and the QX60 delivers it in spades. Added this year is Forward Emergency Braking (FEB) with Pedestrian Detection. Combined with Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Backup Collision Intervention and Around View Monitor, it makes for one of the safest seven-seat vehicles in the segment.
New suspension components and settings ensure superior comfort and agility, while a revised steering system delivers greater feedback. Featuring Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, performance is a guarantee with the 3.5-litre V6 engine.
