Twin Palms Riding Centre hosted a highly-competitive and challenging two-day Twix-stead event featuring three different fields of competition.
Dressage and Show jumping were on the agenda on Friday and the famous Twin Palms cross-country event took centre stage on Saturday.
It was only after everyone had completed the weekend competitions that the scores were tallied and the winners announced.
On Friday the Twin Palms riders took to their horses for the Dressage Competition first. Everyone was dressed to impress and their horses were immaculately turned out too.
Dressage is all about the harmony between horse and rider and that vital communication each rider has with the horse is most important to secure the approval of the judges.
On Saturday evening competitors got the chance to take a glimpse of the challenging cross-country course before taking off. All the competitors took to the trail to scout out their best options for navigating the course.
This was not one for the faint of heart. With fences and logs to jump, it proved to be a challenge even for the best of riders.
Spectators held their breath as each competitor bravely went through and there were plenty of thrills and spills provided. After the dust settled a few came out victorious.
The points from all three classes were totalled up and a prize-giving ceremony was held.
In Class One, it was junior rider Jameela Hasied on her very trusty steed Rio who took first place. Close behind her in second was Audrey Maingot on Loki and Maisie Bandreth on Cash Deal took to the podium for her very first time to take home third place.
In Class Two exciting teen talent Aimee Keen on the impressive DJ Fleur claimed first place and Imogen Nell on Mojito came second with a very impressive ride over two days. In third came Bella Rushton on No Trix.
