La Fontaine Art Centre will be screening Rumi-poet of the heart, an award-winning 60-minute film produced and directed by Haydn Reiss, featuring Coleman Barks, Robert Bly, Deepak Chopra, storyteller and mythologist Michael Meade and religious historian Huston Smith, at its White Ramadan Tent. Dinner starts from 6pm and the film will be screened at 8pm. Tickets cost BD10.

Bahraini artist Hussain Alnoaimi is displaying a selection of his work at ART Rotana Amwaj Islands throughout the month as part of the hotel’s ‘Seasons of Art’ initiative.
The Ministry of Culture’s Ramadaniyat Souq at Bab Al Bahrain is open to families until July 6, supporting homegrown businesses in a market-style atmosphere. The Souq will feature a variety of stalls including Bahraini goods, clothing and photography. The event will also stage an array of cultural activities from 9.30pm to 12.30am.

An exhibition continues at the Bahrain National Museum celebrating the strong civil and military aviation heritage between Bahrain and the United Kingdom. The centrepiece is a Supermarine Spitfire, which first flew 80 years ago. The exhibition runs until October 23.
