Gulf Weekly Floodlights shine on Tankard and Alexander

The pairing of Stewart Tankard and Carter Alexander won a recent Monday Night Lights competition at the Royal Golf Club in testing weather conditions with an excellent score of 25 points, just one point ahead of runners-up Ross and Justin Clewley.

Anil Nair and playing partner Ravi Krishnan came third with a solid score of 21 points.

Around 30 golfers took part in the Rainbow Challenge Betterball Stableford tournament which was played under floodlights on the back 9 holes of the club’s Montgomerie championship course on alternating tee boxes.

The evening was rounded off with a prize presentation ceremony in the Members’ Lounge.

The Monday Night Lights competitions take place at the Royal Golf Club every Monday evening.

The competitions are open to non-members at a cost of BD18 per night green fee plus a BD2 entry fee which goes into the prize pool.
