LEGENDARY Dolly Parton released her first rock album last Friday, featuring some of the most iconic rock singers in history.
Inspired by her husband’s passion for rock music, the 77-year-old country star took on the challenge after she was nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame – to justify her inclusion.
Dolly took to social media to announce the release of her first rock album.
“I can’t tell you how proud I am of the Rockstar album, and I am so happy that it’s finally here to be released,” said Dolly.
“I really had a wonderful time working with all these iconic artists on the record, as well as all the iconic musicians. Not to mention all these great iconic songs that I think everyone will love hearing again. I just hope you enjoy my version of them.”
Dolly’s new album is available on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music.
