As part of its ‘French Week’ celebrations in Bahrain, Al Hawaj showcased timepieces from Charles Jourdan, an haute couture brand from Paris.
Originally known for its luxury ladies’ shoes back in the 1920s, the boutique brand expanded in 1983 by introducing Swiss-made watches.
Using movements with a guaranteed accuracy within 60 seconds per year, the whole collection is analog Quartz with a minimum battery life of two years. The cases are made from stainless steel either gold-plated or two tones.
The metal bracelets are made of stainless steel and are fully adjustable and there also a choice of fine leather straps. All Charles Jourdan watches are water resistant to a depth of 3 ATM (30m) and marked accordingly on the case back.
In recent years, the make has been very successful by introducing genuine diamonds to the collections for men and women, as well as offering trendy fashion styles.
