A new Ferrari and Maserati showroom has been opened by official importer Euro Motors to showcase the latest luxury sports cars from the two Italian marques.

It can accommodate six Ferrari vehicles on display and six Maserati vehicles, alongside three ‘pre-approved vehicles’ for each brand and a dedicated room for car delivery.

EuroMotors says the facility will ‘better serve’ its clientele in Bahrain and ‘add to the overall experience’ for visitors as the new facility boasts two lounges - one at the showroom and the other at the service area, which has 12 working bays and one hybrid safe bay.

Majid Al Zayani, managing director of Euro Motors, said: “We are proud to announce the opening of the country’s largest Ferrari and Maserati showroom in Bahrain.”

He was joined by Umberto Cini, Maserati managing director for Middle East, Asia & Africa and Enrico Galliera, Ferrari senior vice president of sales at the launch event.

To celebrate the launch two supercars were unveiled to media representatives after  video presentations - the 812 Superfast welcoming a ‘new era in Ferrari 12-cylinder history’ and Maserati’s latest addition to its model range, the Maserati Ghibli – a four-door sports executive sedan.

Building on the legacies of the F12berlinetta and F12tdf, the 812 Superfast is powered by a new 6.5-litre V12 engine achieving a maximum power output at 8,500rpm and springs from 0-100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds.

Both versions of the Maserati Ghibli and Ghibli S, feature a new-generation twin turbo-charged 3.0-litre V6 engine and an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission.

The Ghibli delivers 330 hp, a top speed of 263 km/h and acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds.

With its power output of 410 hp the Ghibli S races to 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds and reaches a top speed of 285 km/h. It is optionally also available with the Q4 all-wheel drive system with acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds up to a top speed of 284 km/h.

Prices are available on request at the showroom.
