Five reasons to get your child into golf

There are multiple reasons why you should start your child out playing golf from an early age. Here are my top five:

Enjoy the outdoors: Too many children stay at home playing on computers or watching TV, Golf is an excellent sport to get outside, enjoy the fresh air and experience the wilderness.

Develop lifelong friendships: You never know who you will meet on the golf course and allows your child to develop their social skills.

Manage emotions: We all know life is not fair … and neither is golf. Managing to keep a positive outlook is key to succeeding in both.

Appreciate diversity: Golf can be played by anyone regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, size or skill level.

Wellness for life: Since you can play golf at any age it is a sport that will always stay with them and keep them healthy. A round of golf is roughly 10,000 steps (depending on your ability).
