St. Christopher’s School Bahrain will be hosting the 19th Young Musicians of the Gulf (YMOG) Competition in Bahrain from Monday to February 1. The Grand Final will be staged at Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa on February 1 at 7pm. This year, 170 participants from schools across the region will take part in three days of musical competition.

UB40 tribute band, Rats in the Kitchen, are flying into Bahrain from the English city of Birmingham, on March 1 and 2, to perform at The Gulf Hotel Bahrain’s Sherlock Holmes Bar and Restaurant.

Reggae legend Bob Marley’s Grammy-nominated son, Ky-Mani Marley and his Konfrontation Band, will perform at Coral Bay, supported by DJ Teddy Jam, DJ Riddle and DJ Kofi Wisky, on February 8, at 3pm. The show marks the late star’s 73rd birthday.

Re/ Asian Cuisine at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay will ring in the Chinese New Year with a one-night-only event honouring the Year of the Dog on February 16 from 7pm to 11pm.

The evening will feature a one-of-a-kind menu prepared by Executive Chef Brian Becher, and is priced BD42net per person including selected beverages.

As part of its Art at the Harbour series, Bahrain Financial Harbour Holding Company would like to invite guests to visit its 22nd exhibition featuring 20 pieces by Bahraini artist Aalima Almosawi, titled Searching for the Light.

The exhibition will be open at Harbour Towers West until February 15, after which it will move to Harbour Towers East where it will be open for another month. Admission is free.
