A new two-wheeled menace has powered onto Bahrain’s roads as Wheels of Arabia launched the new Ducati Panigale V4 at a special event at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) last week.
The Panigale V4 is Ducati’s first mass-produced four-cylinder motorcycle, representing a radical departure from its tradition of producing two-cylinder engines and drew a strong crowd to its unveiling.
The event was also preceded by the first Ducati Regional Technical Training programme where more than 25 technicians across the region undertook intensive training at the BIC’s Ducati Experience Centre.
The Panigale V4’s is derived directly from the MotoGP Desmosedici and is described as a concentrate of Ducati technology, style and performance. With a power-to-weight ratio of 1.1BHP/kg, this bike packs a serious punch in the supersport production bike segment.
