Awali Golf Club staged the inaugural Audi Stableford Competition last Friday - it was the marque’s first competition at AGC and was well attended and closely-contested.
Atiq Mujali took the honours with 42 points, one ahead of mighty Madeleine Doporto. Ali Al Kowari and Jelmer Hoff, also with 41 points, took third and fourth places respectively, followed by Essa Al Qutami and Ali Danesh respectively, each scoring 40 points.
Prizes for Nearest the Pin went to Rashid Ahmed, Daij Khalifa, Rashid Al Qutami and Diane Loney. The day concluded with a lively supper and generous prize table after players crowded around the cars on display.
