A wonderful social evening at Awali Golf Club saw 30-plus keen members turn up to test their long game skills. The challenges this month were an Out of the Rough Shot, 100 yard Gong Hit, Driving accuracy and a simulated nearest the pin.
As usual a BBQ was staged with Phil Morrison flipping the burgers, Ashok looking after the drinks and Rory playing host for all the challenges.
The winners were:

Ladies Overall: Madeleine Doporto
Men’s Nearest the Pin: Ali Al Kaabi
Ladies Nearest the Pin: Jo Pawson
There were also several lucky draw winners and many smiling faces.
