TWO-MICHELIN starred Chef Wout Bru has taken temporary control of the kitchen at The Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention & Spa’s award-winning Fusions restaurant.
The TV celebrity chef flew in yesterday on his first visit to the kingdom and urges diners to come and experience his unique take on French and Belgian cuisine.
The Antwerp-born culinary king told GulfWeekly: “I aim to surprise and delight guests with a new experience by introducing new tastes and, at the same time, showing great respect to local culture.”
One of his star dishes is the King Crab with Oyster & Truffle Potato Foam executed with locally-sourced crab.
Chef Wout will be in action every evening until Saturday and will also be conducting a cooking class on Saturday morning. For details call 17713000.
