Whisperer

The festive firework season is upon us as countless venues across the kingdom celebrated National Day with bursts of explosive colours in the sky to mark the joyous occasion.

One resident, who happened to be living nearby one of the celebratory venues, was woken up in a dreadful fright when the firework frenzy began. The thundering sound that reverberated throughout her apartment not only jolted her awake but also terrified her fur family. One of her giant rescue dogs, which makes delivery men tremble in their boots when they come to the door, ran straight into the bathroom to hide while the other dog shook by her side. The cat of course didn’t care and was bundled up in the laundry hamper.

After realising that she wasn’t under attack, she took to her balcony to enjoy the scenery.

She is definitely more prepared for next time and advises those wanting to keep their pooches calm during future festivities to try playing white noise or soothing music for them, distracting them dog with a game or even making an anti-anxiety wrap.
