With the festive season underway, those having guests over or celebrating the holidays at home have a whole slew of options to shop from, at the country’s leading hypermarkets.
Starting Sunday, Lulu Hypermarkets in Bahrain are offering roasted duck and turkey with all the accompaniments. The birds, imported from the UK, are sure to remind expats of their holidays back home, as they have loved ones over.
The roasted turkey, available for BD4.390/kg and roasted duck for BD3.290/kg, includes all the trimmings such as mashed potatoes, gravy and roasted vegetables.
For those who want to cook their own turkeys, fresh turkeys from the UK are available starting Saturday.
The hypermarket also has its seasonal promotions on a slew of meats and cheeses from all over the world, to help you throw the perfect holiday party. Of note, a variety of Wensleydale Creamery cheeses, including Abbot’s Gold, Shires of England and a spectrum of cheddar varieties, are being imported from the UK especially for the seasonal spreads.
A range of desserts including plum cake, Christmas puddings, mince pies as well as British chocolates and confectionary are being flown in, to make the festive spirit even sweeter. Lots of other holiday offers are now available throughout the store so that you can focus on what’s most important – spending time with your near and dear ones.
