Al Haddad Motors won the 2019 ‘Best in PR’ Award at the 2020 Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East (MBCME) Regional Sales and Marketing conference held in February in Dubai.

With more than 15 media test drives conducted in 2019 and more than 200 coverages on a spectrum of publications and platforms, Al Haddad Motors stood out amongst other distributors in the region. GulfWeekly did a number of test drives, including the A-Class and the new GLE 450, as well as specials including a National Day feature on the company and its offerings.

The awards were presented by the president and chief executive of MBCME, Thomas Klein, and the director of sales and marketing, Krishan Bodhani, to the general manager of Al Haddad Motors, Warren Hudson as well as his marketing manager, Imran Ali.

Al Haddad Motors won this category due to its vast media presence both online and offline. The official distributor for Mercedes-Benz in Bahrain has prioritised the communication of all relevant company news and offers with the public, which contributed to the awards.

Imran told GulfWeekly: “We are extremely pleased with this award. We believe in giving our customers a look at some of our models through the lens of the local media. We’d like to dedicate this award to the media members who have supported us over the past year.”

The conference was attended by representatives from all Mercedes-Benz General Distributors from the region, which consists of all GCC and Levant markets, as well as representatives from Daimler AG and MBCME.
