In support of the kingdom’s healthcare workers, Al Areen Palace & Spa by Accor launched its “Let Us Serve You” initiative, setting up two stands near Salmaniya Medical Complex last Sunday.
The community initiative, running every day from 9am to 6pm until the start of Ramadan, has been serving tea, coffee and freshly baked cookies primarily to health care workers in the parking lot of the hospital.
Pursuant to the Ministry of Health’s Covid-19 guidelines, Al Areen staff are implementing procedures like masks, gloves, equipment cleaning, sanitisation and safe-distance floor spots at the coffee-cup shaped stands.
The five-star hotel’s new general manager, Marie-Berengere Chapoton, commented: “During this period, we have received so much care and selfless sacrifice from our medical teams. I believe, our duty is to support each other in times of need and to find a way to contribute. This humble initiative is to show our appreciation and recognition on behalf of GFH and Al Areen Palace and Spa by Accor.”
