A total of 563 bikers from Bahrain and the region recently rode to show their solidarity with breast cancer patients.

The annual Pink Ride brought together 57 motorcycle groups from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and neighbouring regions.

The event was organised on November 14, in collaboration with Roy Ribeira, a long-standing supporter of the event, and Think Pink: Bahrain Breast Cancer Society founder and president Dr Julie Sprakel.

The morning started at The Avenues Mall, where riders gathered in their signature pink gear before setting off on a colourful, high-energy parade.

The convoy headed to the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), where participants enjoyed a special lap around the iconic track to honour breast cancer warriors, and promote the ongoing awareness campaign.

The ride concluded at Ikea Bahrain, where breakfast was served, and vendors showcased their products.

A special photoshoot was arranged for the lady bikers, celebrating the growing presence and impact of women in the biking community.

“This isn’t just a ride – it is a message of hope, strength and support for every person affected by breast cancer,” Roy said.

Dr Julie expressed her gratitude to the riders and organisers, emphasising the importance of community-driven efforts in supporting breast cancer education, research, and early detection initiatives.
