As part of our Community Footprints programme we organised a Spring Charity Fair earlier this year where our ladies and gentlemen sold food, sweets, clothes and much more in order to raise funds. Recently we invited The Palm Association for an official handing over ceremony. The collected funds amounted to BD690.

The UK’s Daily Mail has reported that archaeologists believed that they have unearthed the bones of Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa from under the floor of a convent in Florence.
 
Lisa Gheradini was the wife of Francesco del Giocondo a wealthy silk merchant who supposedly commissioned the painting for their new home. Lisa became a nun at the convent after her husband died and was believed to have been buried there in 1542 after she died at age 63.
