This year’s Remembrance Day and Wreath Laying Ceremony, a commemoration for members of the Armed Forces who have died in the line of duty, will take place at the Old Christian Cemetery, Zubara Avenue at 10.55am.

The Bahrain Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BSPCA) is staging a Fashion Show, entitled ‘The name is Bone.... James Bone’ in the Windsor Room of the British Club. It will take place from 7pm on November 19. Tickets, priced BD15, will include entry, a meal and refreshments. There will also be entertainment and a raffle. Tickets are available from the British Club, BSPCA Thrift Shop and the animal welfare centre at Askar.

Synopsis: Sandra has just returned to work after recovering from a serious bout of depression. After learning that her co-workers will vote to decide her fate on Monday morning, Sandra races against time over the course of the weekend, often with the help of her husband, to convince each of her fellow employees to sacrifice their much-needed bonuses so she can keep her job. With each encounter, Sandra is brought into a different world with unexpected results.
