This year’s Spring of Culture is breaking ground by bringing to stage a home-grown children’s theatre production, Chaos In The Town! The 50-minute comedy/adventure for children aged two-12 has been written and directed by Bahraini duo Kanwal Hameed and Ruqaya Aamer, based on stories by Lebanese author Fatima Sharafeddine.
A visit to Bahrain by a sextet ensemble from the British Paraorchestra, the world’s first professional ensemble of disabled musicians, has proved so successful that plans are underway to invite the full orchestra to perform here, writes Stan Szecowka.
The next edition of Trib Fest will take place at the Bahrain Rugby Football Club in Janabiya on April 15. The event will run from 10am-10pm and tickets are available from https://www.tribfestbh.com/ or from the club reception. They are BD15 for adults and BD7 for children aged 12 and under.
