More than 55,000 people from 40 local and expat communities will take part in the upcoming ‘Bahrain For All’ festival on March 30 at Prince Khalifa bin Salman Park in Hidd, supported by Tamkeen. There will be performances representing the Indian, Pakistani, Sri Lankan, Filipino, Jordanian, Ethiopian, Thai, Bangladeshi, and Egyptian communities, among others. Special needs children from RIA Institute and Hidd Rehabilitation Centre will also put on special performances.
The 10th Annual Jawad Mini Marathon will take place on Friday at the Jawad Dome, Barbar, with the tagline ‘Run or Walk for the Cause.’ Register online at www.jawadminimarathon.com, and collect your T-shirt and a raffle coupon from The Jawad Dome today. Registration is BD2 for adults and BD1 for kids below 16 years old. All proceeds will be donated to the Bahrain Autistics Society. The 8km run starts at 8.50am, the 5km run starts at 9am, and the Walkathon starts at 9.10am.
